Exodus’ Rob Dukes Takes a Dark Journey with Terminal Press

The sickest minds in comic books and heavy metal are dishing up a slice of pure evil this January, as Terminal Press and Exodus’ Rob Dukes combine forces on a raw and brutal new comic – I AM BECOME GOD.

Adapted from an unpublished novel by Dukes, the comic takes its title from Hindu scripture – and its content from the underside of Hell. The infamous quote from which the book is named (“I am become death, destroyer of worlds”) is often associated with the testing of the United States’ first atomic bomb. In actuality, it originally comes from the Bhagavad Gita, a Hindu text on the ethics of war. With I AM BECOME GOD, these themes of violence, death and morality have been twisted and distilled into the life of a lone man – a nameless serial killer who leads us through his own dark journey from youth to adulthood.

Told in excruciating detail and without regret, I AM BECOME GOD is an autobiographical coming-of-age story for the damned. Terminal Press sold out the entire first printing of “Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here” after a heaping load of fan support and positive reviews. For those that missed out on the limited-run title the first time around, TP is psyched to announce a second printing, locked, loaded and available right now.

Terminal Press Thrashes the Masses with “Exodus: Death Begets Death”

Terminal Press and Nuclear Blast Records have teamed up for their next comics/metal crossover with "Exodus: Death Begets Death."Utilizing the lyrical, artistic and musical concepts from the Bay Area Thrash legends, Terminal Press plans to bring the world of Exodus alive in a big way.

Set in a ruined America of the near future, the story follows two war generals who rule over military fiefdoms the size of time zones. General Scraw controls the west coast, while his twin brother General Scraggg reigns from a seat in Las Vegas. The twins amuse themselves by sending the military’s toughest war toys, the Shovel Headed Kill Machines, into the deserts of the MidWaste to exterminate the human rabble that scrabbles for survival there. But when General Scraw learns that his military has been wiped out by a supernatural being calling herself the Earth Mother, he sends five crazed men who may or may not be the members of Exodus from the bowels of his own prison to stop her.
But many more people will die before the strange woman gets what she wants, and the twin generals will learn the price of their own misdeeds.

Terminal Press’ first Sketch Book brings fans beautiful women and a chance at original art with Adam Street’s ”Epiphany”

Terminal Press has a reputation for working with artists who illustrate beautiful, sexy women (Debbie Does Dallas, Candy Stripers, Deep Throat) and their newest book is overflowing with everything fans have come to expect.

In 2006 Adam Street left his “day job” to color comics full-time. Working for SotoColor, he has colored some of Marvel Comic’s top properties such as: Spiderman, X-men, Fantastic Four and the Hulk. He has also worked for DC Comics, Image, Terminal Press and IDW Publishing.

Though Street is known for his coloring, what many do not know is that he is a budding “good girl” illustrator. “Epiphany” is an expanded collection of his girlie sketches and beautiful color illustrations.

Terminal Press is grabbing some prime real estate on the Wizard World Philadelphia show floor at booth 1000 to show off their three con debut books, a surprise Exclusive and a full table of TP artists ready to sketch for the fans.

Previously unannounced, Terminal Press has put together a limited preview run of their upcoming “Dimmu Borgir: Dark Fortress” comic for the Wizard World Philly convention. The book contains a thirteen page first-look preview of the title along with pin-ups and covers which are exclusive to this edition.
"Dimmu Borgir: Dark Fortress" utilizes the artistic vision and lyrical themes of the biggest Black Metal band in the world, Dimmu Borgir, to create a powerful and thought provoking fantasy horror comic book.
This will be an extremely limited run and will be available on a first come, first served basis- no pre-orders or reserve tickets.

The darkest of Arrow Productions’ film classics, "The Devil in Miss Jones," is the latest and the grand finale in Terminal Press' “HARD/CORE” line of limited-run comic books doing artistic takes on iconic adult cinema.

Justine Jones is a victim of ritualistic abuse by an unnamed cult. She’s held captive in a dungeon, trussed to a stainless steel gurney, where she’s endured unbearable pain and humiliation. After a trip into limbo and a deal with the mysterious Mr. Abaca, Miss Jones' ordeal has only just begun.

"The Devil in Miss Jones" takes the cult classic into the realm of psychological horror with a story that keeps true to the film’s roots while once again adding to the mythos of this classic through the use of the comic medium.

Five BIG book announcements coming. FIVE! BIG! Three you may have heard about. Two are going to blow some of you away if you love Metal like I do.

We've been working our asses off and I am just dying to show something, but I can't yet. I'll tell ya' something about one of them - It's the first book Narek and I (Brian) have worked on solely together since Silent Assassin and it's not the new Silent Assassin (although we are working on that too- I swear.) Narek's art on it is crazy and like nothing you've seen him do before.
This is another one of those TP books like Johnny Wadd and the rest of those- it's a cool fucking idea and 10 times better than what you might expect a comic to do.

The infamous 70's film classic "Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here," from Arrow Productions, is the latest to undergo the "HARD/CORE" treatment, in Terminal Press' line of limited-run comic books doing artistic takes on iconic adult cinema.

"Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here" takes the cult classic Johnny Wadd character made famous by John Holmes and transports him into a gritty crime drama set in present-day Mexico. For the uninitiated, the Johnny Wadd character and John Holmes himself were most recently the basis of Marc Wahlberg’s lead in “Boogie Nights” with Val Kilmer portraying Holmes as well in the film “Wonderland.”

Director, Bob Chinn said that he wrote the script for the first Johnny Wadd film on the back of an envelope. So, what would’ve Holmes and Chinn come up with if they had really shot for the moon with their script? What if they had to make people pay attention without showing them Holmes’ legendary 13 inches? They’d have done a hard boiled, tough as nails crime story with twists and turns and interesting characters, tough guys and sexy dames. They’d have done on film what we’ve done in this comic.

If you watched Rock of Love Bus and also happen to have a copy of our book Phony-Baloney, flip to the back if you want a good chuckle!
The secretary character who also has the bikini-clad photo ad in the back is based on DJ Lady Tribe, aka Nikki.

I haven't even finished the episode, but I can already say with confidence that she is the stand-out character who deserves all of Brett Michaels love...

Yeah, get those copies before Brett buys them all up!

Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, then-rookie reporters with the Washington Post, did stories about the break-in and subsequent cover-up. Both men credited Felt for helping them, but Bernstein said Felt was a tough interview.

"He didn't leak. He had to really be squeezed," Bernstein said in a 2006 interview.

It's time to break our media silence though. We are on the verge of another round of relentlessly promoting all of the hard work we've toiled away on these past months.

There are a few last touches to be made, but I can happily say, Johnny Wadd is done and should head off to print very soon. You may be stuffing this in a stocking this season. It also makes a great new years gift. Worst case scenario, your loved one will appreciate it on Valentines day. Guess that all depends on the printer, because we finished the fucker!

Once you have your copy of Johnny in hand, there's still The Devil in Miss Jones to look forward to and the whole collection in graphic novel form sometime this spring.

I'll leave it off there for now, but there is a lot more to talk about soon.

There's a lot to click on this new site. I like the polls. Twitter is kinda fun too. I can shoot an update onto the site from my cell phone.

Adding a bunch more content, then gonna have a launch promotion starting on Sept 23rd. We're probably gonna do a little pack-in treat as well (while supplies last). It's my birthday too that day. I'm lookin' forward to Sept 23rd.

You should be hearing (and seeing) some more information on the Johnny and Devil books sometime during all that too. They're both impressing me a lot. It would be safe to say, especially to those who've been enjoying Debbie, Candy and Deep, you have some cool-ass books to be looking forward to.

The new site makes browsing the TP catalog a breeze and ordering simple and quick. It also makes it easy for us to add lots of new items, like original art and more limited run merch, which is exactly what we will be doing. We're all pretty excited about it because the new site enables us to just focus on making cool stuff while terminalpress.com does all the heavy lifting of getting that stuff to you.

Take a look around, click some stuff and grab that TP book you've been wanting to add to your stash. Getting that satisfying shopper's high doesn't get much easier!

At least until 2013, when the exhumed corpse of character-actor Christopher Hewett is "accidentally" exposed to a rare breed of Chinese artichoke, unleashing the Belvedere Influenza Virus, and with it, our impending doom.

We'll just distract ourselves with comic books until then.
